There have been several studies carried out on conceiving after miscarriage .The distinctive feature of all these studies however, has been ‘finding out the most favourable time for women to conceive’. The World Health Organization (WHO), in this context has been very active and has put in a lot of effort to find out answers to common questions like this. Obstetricians from all over the world have been particularly very conscious about situations like these too. Significant studies reveal that a majority of women plan for another pregnancy after six months where as a small population goes for a second pregnancy soon after miscarriage. As a result, it was found out that the women who conceived earlier had a less chance to miscarry again as compared to the ones who extended the time from 6 months to one year or above. Studies have also been carried out in order to know various causes of such a situation. Many think that age is a dominant factor especially in such delicate circumstances.
